Clifford Crane

As President of Apollo Security Sales Inc., an electronic security systems firm he founded 15 years ago, Clifford Crane oversees all operational aspects of the company with help from his management team. Clifford Crane presides over a highly qualified group of professionals in marketing, manufacturing, engineering, accounting, shipping, and customer support, and he and his team worked hard to make the company an international player in the security systems market. Apollo Security Sales Inc., headquartered in Newport Beach, California, manufactures all its products at its local plant; however, the company exports up to 90 percent of its products and maintains sales and technical support offices in the United Kingdom, Singapore, the Czech Republic, Brazil, China, and the Middle East.

An entrepreneur and engineer, Clifford Crane graduated from Orange County State College (now California State University, Fullerton), where he received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Clifford Crane also holds a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license, which allows him to operate radiotelegraph devices.

Apollo Security Sales Inc. products focus on access control and integration systems. Some of the company’s more popular products include door controller modules and alarm systems that use access interface network modules. To assure quality control in manufacturing, Clifford Crane has brought his company up to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) expectations. Clifford Crane is proud that Apollo Security Sales Inc. continues to be an ISO 9001–certified company.

To stay abreast of developments in engineering, Clifford Crane maintains membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a widespread networking and information-sharing organization, and ASIS International (formerly the American Society for Industrial Security). Mr. Crane also networks locally through the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce and Vistage International, Inc., which offers a monthly venue for business leaders to engage in discussion and problem solving.
