A QR code (abbreviated for Quick Response Code) is a type of “matrix looking” barcode that was first created by Toyota in 1994 to track automobiles during the manufacturing process. Today, QR codes are being utilized on billboard, magazines, advertisements, websites, and for many other purposes. One of the newest industries that incorporated QR codes is the Pet Industry. They are getting more and more popular by the day and we’re to see them everywhere we go and look. According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), the pet industry in the U.S. in 2011 has outgrown the previous year by more than a whopping $2 Billion for a grand total of $50.84 Billion. We certainly love our furry friends! | |||
